Rappler - News, social media app good for
Overall a decent app for Philippines-based news articles but as they expanded their international coverage, the Philippine articles are harder to find in the mix. I usually use this app to find articles written by Philippine media and other apps for US/international news. The most recent version after updating only shows me articles from 2012, what gives? Please address these bugs.
i decided to get the rappler app because the fb page just wasnt enough. in particular, i love the life & style section. i learn something new every day
Thank you rappler for developing this app. More power as you continue to bring journalism and social consciousness to a higher level.
Some bad moments
Ive attempted several times ti open the app. It opens but only to the whats in store pages.
It keeps crashing on load. Elements start to appear, the progress indicator is spinning, and poof—gone. I tried 4 or 5 times and then deleted the app.
iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.
Since I deleted it I wont get notified of a fix, but oh well. Ill check back someday.
It keeps crashing everytime I try to open it. :( I cant access the app at all. I was so excited to use it pa naman! Im using an iPod Touch 4th Generation iOS6.1
I cant get it to work for more than 30 seconds which is really frustrating. Ive installed in on a 4th Gen iPod Touch.
Response is so slow you have to minimize strokes so as not to crash the app. The interface is great, more upgrades should be done on the future though. Nonetheless, its a great app. :)
The new update of rappler is not doing very well. It keeps coming back on top every time you scroll down and try to read an article. Please fix this prob.
